A view from the clubhouse

Chifuriko means “Lake Chifuri”. The course was designed by Poellot to be played by a wide range of players. Advanced players might not therefore be fully satisfied with the course because of the relatively easy layout and short yardages. Intermediate players and beginners will surely enjoy this resort course, however.. The course features huge greens on most holes.

A bridge and a lake

A lodge and hot spring bath are available. The beef set menu at lunch was delicious.

The lake Chifuri, located within the course, is an artificial lake created for agricultural purposes, and is not very large. There is an expensive-looking susupension bridge crossing the lake.

The course was awarded the 64th place out of 2400 courses in 2002’s Japanese golf course rankings by the Japan Golf Classic Magazine.
